Heather Thompson

I’m delighted to have founded Core Mobility Wellness. With a passion for movement and a commitment to helping people feel their best, I’ve been teaching Pilates since 1999. I created Core Mobility Wellness to bring together my comprehensive training in Pilates, weightlifting, functional movement, and mobility.

My classes blend Pilates and strength training to create challenging, educational, and empowering experiences that help clients build strength, improve mobility, and move with greater confidence and ease.

Training with Romana was an amazing experience! Over the years, I’ve seen how Pilates can help people from all walks of life—including those with autoimmune disorders, injuries, Parkinson’s, and athletes—improve strength, stability, flexibility, and balance.

I love helping people feel their best through movement, with a special passion for working with moms during pregnancy and postpartum. I help new moms reconnect with their core and address pelvic floor dysfunction and diastasis recti. For my pregnant clients, I focus on helping them feel strong, confident, and supported throughout their pregnancy.

I also love working with athletes! Whether you’re a runner, CrossFitter, ballplayer, or gymnast, core strength, coordination, breath, and mobility are essential to performance and injury prevention.

My goal is to empower every client to take an active role in their training and develop a body that feels strong, supple, and balanced. I look forward to working with you!

Rylan

I believe Pilates is a practice, not perfection, and I am passionate about helping clients build strength, resilience, and confidence in their bodies.

Pilates became my second act after a previous career as a classically trained chef, and I focus on precision, consistency, and continued growth.

Rylan

I have been practicing Pilates for four years and teaching for two, after transitioning from a background in bootcamp training and weightlifting in search of a more sustainable, joint-friendly approach to movement. Pilates became my second act after a previous career as a classically trained chef, and I approach it with the same focus on precision, consistency, and continued growth.

I believe Pilates is a practice, not perfection, and I am passionate about helping clients build strength, resilience, and confidence in their bodies. What started as a way to support my joints quickly became something more—I fell in love with the mental clarity and focus Pilates provides, and the way it allows people to reconnect with themselves while strengthening both body and mind.

I’ve had the opportunity to work and train with Core Mobility instructors Yasmin, Tandi, and Taryn. Tandi and Yasmin were instrumental in my training and have been highly influential in both my decision to become an instructor and in shaping how I approach and teach Pilates today.

I especially enjoy guiding clients through those breakthrough moments when a movement finally clicks and true engagement is felt. My goal in every session is to create a supportive space where clients can focus on themselves, move with intention, and leave feeling stronger, more mobile, and more connected to their body."

I’m really excited to join Core Mobility Fitness and appreciate the opportunity- I’m looking forward to learning from you and contributing to the studio!

Sharon

I have a long love and passion for Pilates. I was trained and certified on all apparatus thru Pilates Academy International. Personally I actively seek out every teaching opportunity to expand my experiences and bring Pilates to as many diverse populations as possible. I feel like Pilates is restorative and therapeutic for everyone and I enjoy sharing my take on Pilates. My goal always is to present a safe yet challenging choreography, that includes a mix of my background in dance, running and triathlons.

I am a longtime resident of The Woodlands so chances are that our paths have crossed because of the many hats I have worn throughout the years. I am married to my husband of 30 years, Stephen, and have 3 children and 2 little grand babies. I  have been a runner for many years and often say Pilates is the reason I can still run!

I am so excited to be a part of Core Mobility Fitness and all of the exciting and interesting programs found here. Teaching Pilates has been the best gift I have ever given myself. I am able to meet and help wonderful people and continually learn something that feeds my mind and body so well.
